
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American journalist on television who is currently affiliated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawk On the Street' (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk on the Street' (CNBC). The Ohio native She was not interested in markets or currencies during her time in college. She was an intern at ForexTV.com while she was a student at New York University. It was there that she had her first encounter working with business news. Then, she graduated with the master's degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She then did a four-month-long job with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and started working in New York at Bloomberg. Then, she became a anchor for a TV show. CNBC appointed her as a correspondent in December 2013. After working as co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange,' and Power Lunch', she was recruited by CNBC in December 2013. She was then offered the job at Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is also a co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. Her main goal since joining CNBC has been global consumer news.
