Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex in One Tree Hill's last three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside several singles from her non-album album. Voices, a self-doubting album was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area, discovered her love for the music of country. Then she decided to pursue an acting career. Her first professional role was acting in the film Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still an teen. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC Friday Night Lights in the second season of 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to portray Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was offered the role of One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until about half-way through the final season (2012). It was featured later on her debut album in the middle of 2012. The song was featured on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Following a shift to her professional musical career, she was still acting, and she appeared in films like Heart of the Country 2013 (which attracted her fan base) or Country Crush 2016 (which would draw her fans of music). Kramer's second album, Thirty One was released through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months on the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was fourth. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit by singing the track Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
